Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Legal Executive with hands-on experience in Society Redevelopment

Projects, particularly within the Navi Mumbai region. The ideal candidate should have strong

command over co-operative society laws, MAHADA rules, RERA compliance, and working

knowledge of procedures at the Alibag Joint District Registrar (JDR) Office.

Roles & Responsibilities: -

1. Society Redevelopment Legal Work

  • Handling end-to-end legal processes for society redevelopment projects.
  • Coordinating with housing societies, attending SGB/AGM/GBM meetings.
  • Drafting redevelopment proposals, Development Agreements, resolutions, consent forms, and

PMC-related documents.

  • Preparing documentation for society approvals and tender processes.

2. Liaisoning & JDR Office Work (Alibag)

  • Filing and follow-up of cases at the Joint District Registrar (JDR), Alibag.
  • Handling society elections, disputes, registrations, and compliance under MCS Act 1960.
  • Managing applications for bye-law amendments, deemed conveyance, committee approvals, and

audits.

3. Legal Documentation & Compliance

  • Drafting and vetting contracts, affidavits, indemnities, MoUs, Development Agreements, and PoA.
  • Ensuring compliance with MCS Act, RERA Act, DCR rules, and CIDCO/NAINA/MSRDC norms.
  • Liaising with government authorities and consultants for approvals.

4. Coordination & Support Work

  • Conducting title searches, land document verification, and legal due diligence.
  • Coordinating with architects, surveyors, legal advisors, and government departments.
  • Preparing legal notes, reports, and maintaining documentation.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 3–4 years of experience in society redevelopment legal work.
  • Strong knowledge of Co-operative Society Laws, redevelopment regulations, RERA compliance.
  • Familiarity with Alibag JDR office procedures.
  • Ability to independently draft legal documents.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.

Language Skills (Mandatory):

  • The candidate must know Marathi typing and Marathi reading/understanding.
  • Ability to draft, translate, and interpret Marathi documents is very important.
