Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Admission Counsellor to join our college's admissions team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end admissions process, guiding prospective students and parents, organizing admission drives, and supporting administrative activities. The candidate should have strong communication and persuasive skills, excellent organizational ability, and prior experience in education sales/admissions counselling.

Key Responsibilities

Admission Counselling & Lead Conversion

• Manage the entire admission process from inquiry to enrolment.
• Counsel prospective students and parents via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of student leads and ensure timely follow-ups.
• Present program offerings, curriculum, fees, scholarships, and placement details clearly to stakeholders.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual admission targets.

Admission Drives & Marketing Activities

• Plan, organize, and execute admission campaigns—school visits, education fairs, seminars, and on-campus events.
• Coordinate and collaborate with the marketing team for social media and digital promotions.
• Build relationships with schools, coaching centres, career counsellors, and corporate partners to boost admissions.
• Conduct presentations, campus tours, and promotional workshops.

Administration & Reporting

• Maintain accurate data records of inquiries, applications, and admissions in CRM/software.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports of admissions progress for management review.
• Assist in documentation, fee follow-up, registration, and onboarding of newly admitted students.
• Ensure adherence to college admission policies and regulatory requirements.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to persuade, build rapport, and handle objections confidently.
• Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Data-driven approach with proficiency in MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
• Ability to work under deadlines and achieve defined targets.
• High level of professionalism, patience, and student-centric mindset.

Eligibility

• MBA (Marketing) preferred; candidates with relevant postgraduate education may also apply.
• 4–5 years of experience in admissions counselling, student recruitment, or education sales.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35, ₹45,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Mysuru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
