OECL Shipping and Logistics Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced
Customer Associate Executive
to handle customer coordination and sales support for our overseas clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing communication between customers, shipping lines, and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fix appointments with new customers using existing databases, websites, and other lead sources.
- Procure competitive rates from shipping lines and provide quotations directly to overseas and domestic customers.
- Negotiate with shipping lines to meet customer and overseas office requirements and onboard shipments.
- Take complete ownership of the customer from business execution to delivery:
- a) Collect necessary shipment documents from customers and hand them over to the customer service team.
- b) Coordinate with the customer service team and provide regular updates to customers.
- c) Maintain daily status reports for all handled customers.
- Develop new trade lanes and business opportunities from existing customers.
- Report to the team head and escalate issues promptly for quick resolution.
Qualification & Experience:
- Graduate or Postgraduate from a recognized university.
- Minimum
5 years of experience
in
freight forwarding or logistics
. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
- Strong background in
pricing and customer support
. - Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple customer accounts efficiently.
