We are pleased to inform you about an exciting opportunity for the role of Compliance Lead India with one of our esteemed clients in the Legal & Compliance domain. This is a critical leadership position reporting directly to the Director of Legal & Compliance, with a national scope and the chance to make a significant impact on compliance strategy and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and review India compliance policies and procedures.
- Partner with India and regional colleagues to address compliance challenges and share best practices.
- Manage the India whistleblowing platform and lead ethics/compliance investigations.
- Drive the Third-Party Screening program and compliance training initiatives.
- Support governance, risk, and compliance committee meetings, as well as legal operations.
Ideal Profile:
- Law degree or related qualification.
- 10+ years of experience in compliance, internal controls, legal, or audit in a multinational company.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to work independently in dynamic environments.
This is a strategic role where you will be partnering closely with business and functional leaders to foster a strong compliance culture and support critical decision-making.
