We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Engineer with 4–7 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance methodologies, process control, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement. This role ensures that products consistently meet internal standards, customer requirements, and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes, inspection plans, and testing procedures to ensure product compliance.
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections, using measurement tools, gauges, and testing equipment.
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) investigations for product defects and process deviations.
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to address non-conformities and ensure corrective & preventive actions (CAPA) are implemented effectively.
  • Review and update quality documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, control plans, and inspection standards.
  • Perform statistical process control (SPC) analysis and prepare quality trend reports to monitor process capability and performance.
  • Participate in internal and external audits.
  • Support supplier quality activities, including incoming material inspection and evaluating supplier quality performance.
  • Train production staff on quality concepts, inspection techniques, and company quality requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, improve product reliability, and enhance operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4–7 years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, or process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies.
  • Proficiency with measurement instruments (calipers, micrometers, CMM, gauges).
  • Experience with ISO 9001 or other relevant quality management systems.
  • Solid understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
