Role Description : This is a full-time on-site role for a QA Tester with an optical domain focus located in Bengaluru. The QA Tester will be responsible for test execution, quality assurance, manual testing, and creating test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of optical products. Experience : 3+ years.

Notice period : Immediate to maximum 30 days. Job location : Bangalore (WFO). Mandatory Skills / technologies : Automation+ Manual testing, Python, Robot Framework, Jenkins, Optical domain, kubernetes, Docker, REST API/UI automation.

Optional Skills / technologies :

  • Selenium, Debugging skills, Performance testing, system testing, sanity testing, MongoDB, jira, confluence, bitbucket, sonarqube, Grafana, Jmeter, linux.
  • Brief description of your key responsibilities for this role:.
  • Working on DWDM, OTN and third party devices.
  • Automation of Topology, SBI and EMF(element management function) features like topology, MDSAL validations, Configuration management, Fault management, performance management, remote back-up and restore operations and other GUI new-content features via REST-API and other common features.
  • Integrating current release contents into Jenkins (entire ownership).
  • Writing manual test cases by reading FSDS documentation, and executing as well.
  • Automation will have coverage starting from device creation, configuration, testing respective features and its corresponding validations via REST-API and cleanup and deleting the devices.
  • Taking care of Jenkins execution for a complete list of Jobs and Failure analysis on every sprint thought-out every release (new content + regression) for functional and system testing (entire ownership).
  • Identifying BUG's via automated scripts.
  • Installing the sprint/daily packages (entire ownership).
  • Code reviewer, following the guidelines and providing suggestions on the code optimized.
  • Writing common keywords according to the team's requirement platform automation.
