Job Description :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, executing, and maintaining test cases to ensure software applications are bug-free, user-friendly, and meet business requirements. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify issues, track defects, and ensure a seamless end-user experience.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web, mobile, and desktop applications.

- Perform various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, system, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Identify, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps).

- Collaborate with the development team to reproduce issues and verify fixes.

- Ensure compliance with quality standards, usability guidelines, and project requirements.

- Work with automation engineers to identify areas suitable for automated testing.

- Maintain clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation of test processes, results, and findings.

- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on QA status, risks, and improvements.

- Advocate for continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 2-7 years of proven experience in software testing (manual and/or automation).

- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

- Experience with defect tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar.

- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.

- Familiarity with SQL for basic database validation.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

- Good verbal and written communication Skills :

- Exposure to automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

- Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.

- Experience in performance testing (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).

- ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications.
