Software Quality Assurance Manager

About the role:
The Software Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive quality assurance strategy for projects, encompassing functional, non-functional, automation, and performance testing.
Main responsibilities include developing detailed test plans, collaborating with project managers and stakeholders, leading and managing a team of software testers, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery of quality assurance milestones.
The Software Quality Assurance Manager will also be responsible for reviewing test cases, managing the testing lifecycle, providing regular updates to stakeholders, and coordinating with development, product management, and customers.
This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in testing (e.g. ISTQB, CSTE)
- 10 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- 3 years in a leadership role, managing testing teams and complex projects
