Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role:

  • We are seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development lifecycle, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and Analyze System Specifications: Understand system requirements and functionality to develop effective test strategies.
  • Develop Test Plans: Create comprehensive test plans for both manual and automated testing.
  • Execute Test Cases: Execute test cases and analyze results to identify bugs or issues.
  • Evaluate Product Code: Evaluate product code against specifications and provide feedback to the development team.
  • Create Defect Reports: Document defects and report them to the development team for resolution.
  • Troubleshoot Issues: Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot issues during testing and debugging.
  • Post-Release Testing: Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing to ensure software functionality.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with developers and project managers to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven Experience: 4+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.
  • Strong Knowledge: Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and best practices.
  • Testing Experience: Experience in manual and automated testing, including creating test plans and executing test cases.
  • Automation Testing: Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium.
  • Agile Frameworks: Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
  • Error Documentation: Ability to document and troubleshoot errors and issues.
  • Test Management: Working knowledge of test management software and SQL.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
