Role & responsibilities
Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux servers and related systems.
Proficiency in command-line tools and utilities in Linux environments.
Deep expertise in Linux operating systems, including Red Hat, CentOS, and Ubuntu
Experience with shell scripting in Bash or Python for automation
Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to enhance system
Stability
Support user access and permissions management, ensuring data security and compliance.
Participate in system upgrades, patches, and backups as directed by senior administrators.
Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and team

Respond to SCOM alerts and take corrective action.
Collaborate with the IT team to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Monitor the ServiceNow queue and address incidents and requests.
Use SCCM \Ivanti to deploy Windows server patches and Satellite to deploy Linux patches.
Deploy Citrix VDI and troubleshoot user Citrix issues.
Remediate vulnerabilities identified by Information Security.
Ensure certificates are replaced before they expire.
Deploy, configure, and manage Windows.
Health check report for Datacenter servers
Monitor backup (Veeam) jobs and address failures.
Manage shared folders and DFS.
Create privileged Active Directory groups and service accounts.
Expand drives, LUNs, and ensure there are multiple paths to each LUN.
Should be ready to work in a 24x7 Shift Schedule
Preferred candidate profile
(Minimum Required Experience, Education, Knowledge/Skills/Abilities, Essential Physical Demands):
A bachelors degree in computer science or related field or equivalent additional experience.
4+ years of Linux Server administration.
2+ years of Azure infrastructure administration.
2+ years of SCCM software distribution.
2+ years of Citrix administration.
2+ years of Office 365 administration.
2+ years of VMware administration.
2+ years of Windows administration.
2+ years of storage system administration.
3+ years of experience and knowledge of server hardware.
2+ years of experience with certificate management.
2+ years of DHCP and DNS administration.
Familiar with ITIL processes and ITSM ticket systems, preferably ServiceNow.
Experience working in large IT departments supporting over 2,000 servers and 15,000 employees.
The ability to learn quickly and support a broad array of technologies.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Good interpersonal skills that include the ability to effectively communicate in both writing and verbally and
to be able to work with clients and remotely assist non-technical users with troubleshooting.
Ability to work on a diverse team with members located in multiple international locations.
