Role and Responsibilities:

As a Procurement Executive at Nilasu Consulting Services Pvt Ltd, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Searching for Manufacturers / Distributors / Wholesalers for the items listed in the IMPA (International Maritime Purchasing Association) catalogue in various ports.
  • Procuring standard store/industrial items at the most competitive (least) cost.
  • Gathering multiple vendors to provide maximum choices for store items.
  • Sourcing the most frequently ordered consumable products and listing the respective suppliers online.
  • Negotiating with vendors for best possible prices and discounts.
  • Compiling data, including images, product descriptions, and IMPA codes, and organizing it as per IMPA Chapters.
  • Liaising with the IT team for smooth uploading of data.
  • Checking the lowest available prices on the web for multiple vendors without images and pricing.
  • Contacting vendors and onboarding them into the company website.
  • Following up with the Operations team on a daily basis to identify ongoing inquiries for consumable products and adding them to the database on a priority basis.
  • Familiarizing with the IMPA catalogue and the terminologies associated with the relevant items.
  • Collating information, including transportation charges, and documenting it in the Excel sheet.
  • Upgrading knowledge base on various categories, especially Hand tool, Power tool, Electrical, and Deck.
  • Efficiently managing and updating the vendor database for reference.


Candidate Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you should meet the following prerequisites:
  • Engineering graduate in any discipline (MBA will be an added advantage).
  • Good knowledge of technical items in Ship stores.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, including Vlookup & Hlookup.
  • Good product category knowledge, including HSN.
  • Knowledge of creating product titles and attributes.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in the Industrial e-commerce segment will be preferred.
  • Decent verbal and written communication skills.
