Job Summary:

The Procurement Executive will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing materials, goods, and services required by the company. The role involves vendor management, contract negotiations, cost optimization, and ensuring timely availability of quality materials to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and procure materials, goods, and services at the most competitive price, quality, and terms.
  • Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships and continuously evaluate supplier performance.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms to ensure cost savings and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with stores, production, and QA/QC teams to ensure timely availability of required materials.
  • Monitor inventory levels and plan procurement to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier databases.
  • Prepare regular reports on procurement costs, savings, and supplier performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Good knowledge of procurement processes, market trends, and inventory management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
