As part of our further expansion and growth plans, we are looking to hire an aggressive and dynamic Packaging Material professional for Procurement Executive (Pharma)

This position is based at our Corporate Office at Nariman Point in Mumbai.

The remuneration package will be commensurate with the incumbents professional experience and will be in line with market standards.

Job Purpose

Support the procurement team in sourcing, negotiating, purchasing, and coordinating the supply of packing materials required for pharmaceutical production, ensuring timely availability and compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :-

Assist in collecting and comparing supplier quotations for Packaging materials.

Issue purchase orders as per approved requisitions and follow up with suppliers for order confirmation and dispatch.

Track deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods; escalate delays when necessary.

Maintain procurement records, supplier details, and purchase documentation in SAP.

Coordinate with QA for sample collection, COA verification, and material approval.

Support vendor registration and qualification processes.

Work closely with production, QA, and warehouse teams for smooth material flow.

Skills & Competencies

Attention to detail and good documentation practices

Effective communication and coordination skills

Willingness to learn procurement processes and compliance requirements

Basic negotiation and MS Excel skills

Preferred Education requirements: Bachelors in Science or Commerce or related discipline.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Basic understanding of GMP, Procurement of Packaging materials
  • 2-4 years of experience in accounts payable or a related finance role.
  • Experience with SAP
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with high accuracy in work.
