Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Total Rewards Assistant Manager to support our Global IT function. This role will be instrumental in implementing and managing compensation and benefits that align with business goals, drive employee engagement, and ensure market competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Compensation Strategy & Execution

  • Design and review compensation structures, pay ranges, and benefits programs in alignment with business needs and market benchmarks
  • Lead annual compensation cycle, including salary reviews, variable pay, and incentive payouts
  • Conduct market surveys, benchmarking, and compensation analytics
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, labor regulations, and statutory guidelines in compensation and benefits
  • Partner with HRBPs and Talent Acquisition on salary offers and internal equity.

Benefits & Wellness

  • Manage employee insurance programs, health and wellness benefits, gratuity, and superannuation schemes
  • Lead periodic review of benefits offerings to ensure competitiveness and cost-effectiveness
  • Address employee queries related to C&B policies and programs
  • Monitor utilization and effectiveness of wellness programs.

Payroll and HR Operations

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, audits, and compliance
  • Ensure accurate and timely disbursement of salaries, bonuses, and statutory deductions
  • Drive automation and HR process improvements for greater efficiency and accuracy

HR Policy & Governance

  • Draft, review, and update HR policies related to C&B and employee services
  • Ensure proper documentation, governance, and adherence across locations
  • Provide guidance to BHR and other teams on policy interpretation and execution

HR Systems & Data Management

  • Oversee HRIS administration, data accuracy, and HR dashboards
  • Lead digital initiatives in HR operations for better employee experience
  • Generate analytics for management decision-making

Data Analytics & Reporting

  • Maintain and analyze compensation and benefits data for the IT function, identifying trends and opportunities.
  • Prepare dashboards and reports for leadership on total rewards metrics, cost impact, and program effectiveness.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with senior leadership, finance, and BHR teams to drive C&B and operations agenda
  • Liaise with auditors, external consultants, and legal teams for compliance and governance reviews
  • Collaborate with TR Community to ensure consistency and alignment.

Qualifications & Skills

  • MBA (HR) / Postgraduate in HR or related field from a reputed institute
  • 6-8 years of experience in Total Rewards, Compensation & Benefits.
  • Experience supporting large teamspreferably in IT or tech-heavy environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel & HRIS systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Knowledge of compensation practices and compliance requirements.
