How You'll Make an Impact

We are looking for an experienced engineer to join our Developer Experience (DevEx) Backend team. This is a critical, high-leverage role with a mission to accelerate our entire organization. 

You will be a force multiplier for our fast-growing engineering team. Your primary focus will be on solving core challenges that slow the Engineering team down. The systems you build will become a foundation for enhancing productivity of the organization.

As the initial Individual Contributor on this team, you will have the opportunity to define the vision, set the roadmap, and build the future of our internal DevEx sytems from the ground up.

Automate Everything: Automate troubleshooting, runbooks and build automatic triaging systems to improve MTTR.Build the Paved Road: Design and build secure by design high-leverage tooling, standardized libraries, and ergonomic APIs in Golang Or Python that eliminate toil and drive operational excellence.Act as a Product Leader: You'll be the product manager for our DevEx system. You will deeply embed with your 'customers'—Engineering, Security, and Customer Solutions—to understand their bottlenecks and build a prioritized roadmap that delivers compounding to surface data insights via internal dashboards.Build a Data-Driven Culture: Build the systems and dashboards that enable visibility into the health, performance, and usage of our SaaS platform.What You Bring to the Table

A Systems Builder: You have significant experience (likely 7+ years) shipping and operating complex software systems, with a demonstrated focus on demonstrated focus on building backend systems for developer experience and tools.A Curious Problem Solver: You are driven by curiosity about system pains and are genuinely excited to build elegant, automated solutions.A Hands On Engineer: You are highly proficient in a systems language like Golang Or Python and have expereince with building scalable, ergonomic APIs and CLI tools. You have hands-on experience with modern observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry), CI/CD systems and Kuburnetes.A Collaborative Partner: You understand that building a DevEx Tool is a team sport. You excel at communicating complex ideas clearly and enjoy working with your users to build tools they loveA bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.Bonus Points
Building microservices using gRPC.Experience with infrastructure-as-code tool like Terraform.Experience with identity and access management (IAM) systems.Past work building ChatOps and Gitops tooling.Why Endor Labs
