We're looking for a
Senior Backend Engineer
to design, develop, and optimize high-performance infrastructure and services that power massive-scale data analysis and security insights.

This is a hands-on technical role where you'll help shape architecture, automation, and data systems at enterprise scale.


What You'll Do

  • Design, prioritize, and build
    backend infrastructure and services supporting end-to-end experiences.
  • Build and optimize systems for
    data import, cleaning, transport, and real-time analysis
    at
    petabyte scale
    .
  • Lead design and architecture discussions for high-performance, distributed systems.
  • Define
    APIs and service architecture
    for secure, scalable data processing.
  • Collaborate with DevSecOps to create a
    world-class development lifecycle and toolchain
    .
  • Contribute to technical direction, advocate best practices, and make informed tradeoffs in system design.


What You'll Bring

  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science
    or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years
    of backend development experience.
  • Experience in
    cybersecurity
    or
    SaaS environments
    (Access, Identity, or Governance a plus).
  • Proficiency in
    Golang, Java, .NET, or JavaScript
    — with deep understanding of language tradeoffs.
  • Expertise in
    RESTful API design
    , distributed systems, and scalable data pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with
    AWS (preferred)
    or other cloud platforms (Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of
    CI/CD
    ,
    containers
    ,
    Terraform
    , and
    modern DevOps tooling
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    networking, data persistence, noSQL systems
    , and
    high availability
    design.
  • Familiarity with
    performance tuning, monitoring, observability, and incident management
    .

    .
  • Ability to thrive in a
    fast-paced, evolving environment
