About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and articulate Business Analyst / ITSM Functional Consultant to support our IT services team during night shifts. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and demo skills, a solid understanding of ITIL and ITSM processes, and hands-on knowledge of Jira Service Management (JSM).

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct client demos and presentations to showcase Jira Service Management (JSM) capabilities and ITSM process flows.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements, translate them into ITSM solutions, and document them clearly for technical implementation.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of ITIL processes such as Incident, Change, Problem, and Asset Management.
  • Work with technical teams to ensure proposed solutions align with client needs and best practices.
  • Create and maintain functional documentation, process diagrams, and training materials.
  • Support proposal writing, RFP responses, and solution descriptions for ITSM and Atlassian-based service offerings.
  • Stay updated on Jira Service Management features and roadmap to effectively position solutions during client interactions.
  • Collaborate with global clients and internal stakeholders during night shift hours to support pre-sales and ongoing projects.
  • Provide post-demo client feedback to technical teams for continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ITSM Consultant, or Functional Specialist in an IT services or consulting environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and demo skills confident in engaging with clients at all levels.
  • Strong working knowledge of ITIL v3/v4 and ITSM processes (Incident, Change, Problem, Asset, Service Request, etc.).
  • Hands-on understanding of Jira Service Management (JSM) is enough to conduct product demos and explain features. (No coding required.)
  • Ability to work independently and as a liaison between business and technical teams.
  • Comfortable working night shifts to support US clients.

Preferred Skills

  • ITIL Foundation or Intermediate certification.
  • Exposure to Atlassian ecosystem (Jira Software, Confluence, Bitbucket)
  • Experience with proposal writing, pre-sales documentation, or solution presentations.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery practices.
