Role Overview:
The Claim Assessor will handle insurance claims by verifying documents, assessing vehicle damages, and ensuring fair and timely claim settlements. The role involves close coordination with insurers, customers, and repairers while following company and policy guidelines.
Responsibilities and Duties
Act as the point of contact between insurer, customer, and repairer.
Check and verify claim documents for accuracy and completeness.
Assess vehicle damages and match them with policy conditions.
Decide claim admissibility and prepare reports for the insurer.
Follow up for pending documents and escalate delays when needed.
Submit survey reports with all details, photos, and evidence.
Respond to insurer queries and provide clarifications and Track claim status, update all stakeholders, and ensure timely settlement.
Maintain turnaround time (TAT) and control average payouts as per company guidelines.
Whom do we look for?
Minimum qualification: Diploma or Graduate in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering
Basic knowledge of automobiles and car parts.
Prior experience in claims handling, insurance processes, or surveyor coordination is an added advantage.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in email drafting.
Basic working knowledge of MS Office or Google Workspace tools.
Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously with accuracy and attention to detail.
Work Location: Bangalore
Language Requirement: Multilingual candidates preferred (English + local/regional languages).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20, ₹25,000.00 per month
