Role The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing business opportunities to drive revenue and growth for the company. They work closely with the sales, marketing, and leadership teams to develop and execute strategies that align with the organization's objectives.   Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industries, and market trends. Stay informed about competitors and market conditions.
  • Lead Generation: Generate leads through various channels such as cold calling, networking, email marketing, and referrals.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Target Achievement: Consistently achieves the sales target on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis and ensures proper hygiene of the business in terms of payment collection, secondary liquidation, and profitability to the organization.
  • Proposal and Pitching: Prepare proposals, presentations, and pitches to prospective clients. Customize offerings to address client needs and pain points effectively.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate terms and contracts with clients and ensure successful deal closures.
  • Client Retention: Manage and nurture existing client relationships to maximize long-term business opportunities and repeat business.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and finance, to ensure a cohesive approach to business development.
  • Market Expansion: Identify new markets and business opportunities for expansion and growth.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Regularly track and report on business development activities, performance, and results. Analyze data to make data-driven decisions.
   Candidate:
  • 1-4 years in sales in Pharma / Medical / Healthcare, especially in consumables.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of the company's industry and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Results-driven with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales and marketing tools.

Location: Chennai, Coimbatore, Trivandrum, Cochin, Pune, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Vijayawada
Salary : 5-6 LPA + incentives
