We are looking for a highly analytical and results-driven
Deputy Manager – FP&A and Commercial Analysis
to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be a
qualified CA or CMA
with a strong background in
financial planning, budgeting, MIS, and commercial analysis
within a
manufacturing environment
. The role requires expertise in
SAP
, strong stakeholder management, and a proactive approach to process improvement and digitalisation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

  • Lead the FP&A function with a focus on commercial and operational performance.
  • Conduct volume, price, and contribution margin analysis at standalone and group levels.

2. ROCE & Product Group Analysis:

  • Perform Return on Capital Employed (ROCE) analysis and drive insights for business optimization.
  • Collaborate with product managers to evaluate product group profitability and efficiency.

3. MIS & Reporting:

  • Manage monthly closing and consolidation of financial data.
  • Prepare and present detailed MIS reports and dashboards for senior management review.

4. Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process.
  • Align financial forecasts with business objectives and operational strategies.

5. Audit & Compliance:

  • Support statutory and internal audits with timely and accurate documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

6. Process Digitalisation & Improvement:

  • Participate in finance process automation and digitalisation initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance data accuracy, reporting efficiency, and system integration.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in
    SAP
    (mandatory) and advanced
    MS Excel
    .
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong business acumen and problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
    or
    Cost Accountant (CMA)
    .
  • 4–5 years
    of post-qualification experience in
    FP&A, budgeting, and commercial analysis
    , preferably in a
    manufacturing setup
    .
  • Hands-on experience in
    financial reporting, forecasting, and business performance management
    .
