to help us shape financial strategy, improve forecasting accuracy, and provide actionable insights across our retail channels, including Amazon, eBay, and our direct-to-consumer platforms.

About the Role

As an FP&A Analyst, you'll be responsible for forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and building financial models that support business performance. You will work closely with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain, helping translate financial data into insights that drive growth. Familiarity with Xero
is preferred, as much of our core data flows through the platform.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Reporting

• Lead the preparation of monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-term financial plans
• Build and maintain financial models to support business planning and performance tracking
• Support month-end and year-end processes with detailed variance analysis and reporting
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting using Xero, Excel, and visualization tools like Power BI
• Drive process improvement and automation to ensure data integrity and reporting efficiency

Analysis & Business Partnering

• Analyze product-level and category-level sales trends, margins, and contribution
• Provide insights into SKU-level profitability, pricing decisions, and promotional ROI
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to align plans with financial goals
• Conduct scenario analysis for new product launches, commercial deals, or market shifts
• Support the development of performance dashboards and financial KPIs for senior leadership

Margin Management (phased in over time)

• Gradually take ownership of margin management, including tracking, analysis, and improvement initiatives
• Partner with commercial teams to identify margin enhancement opportunities across SKUs, channels, and regions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field (MBA/CA/ACCA preferred)
• 2–5 years of experience in FP&A roles, preferably in FMCG, eCommerce, or retail industries
• Proficiency in Excel and financial modelling; experience with Power BI or other analytics tools is a plus
• Experience with Xero or other cloud-based accounting systems (Xero experience preferred)
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, cash flow, and cost structures
• Effective communicator with the ability to present financial insights to non-finance stakeholders
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
