Deputy Manager Finance & Accounts

Location: Vashi, Navi Mumbai

Division: Finance & Accounts (F&A)

Experience: 8–10 years (with minimum 4 years in a managerial/supervisory role)

Qualification: CA / CA Inter (Mandatory)

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic Deputy Manager – Finance & Accounts to strengthen the financial health of our organization. The role involves managing accounting operations, driving accurate and timely financial reporting, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, sound judgment, and proven leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounting Operations:

  • Lead daily accounting functions (AP, AR, GL).

  • Ensure accuracy of financial records, reconciliations, and audit trails.
  • Approve journal entries, vendor payments, and vouchers in line with policies.

  • Streamline workflows to enhance efficiency.

  • Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare/review P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.

  • Deliver monthly MIS and dashboards for management decision-making.

  • Conduct financial analysis, modeling, and scenario planning.

  • Compliance & Audits:

  • Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, PT, and Income Tax.

  • Coordinate with auditors and consultants for smooth audits.
  • Manage timely filing of returns and statutory documentation.

  • Stay updated on tax/regulatory changes.

  • Budgeting & Cost Management:

  • Assist in annual budgets and rolling forecasts.

  • Monitor performance vs. budget and conduct variance analysis.

  • Recommend cost-control strategies to improve margins.

  • Stakeholder Management:

  • Liaise with banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally (HR, Procurement, Operations, Sales).
  • Support senior management in business reviews and board presentations.
  • Participate in ERP automation initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • CA / CA Inter (mandatory).
  • 8–10 years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of IND AS/IFRS, taxation, and compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, Zoho Books).
  • Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
