Job Description:

A data analyst's role includes collecting data from primary and secondary sources and using statistical techniques to conduct a detailed analysis. They identify and analyze data and trends and report on their findings using data visualization tools, helping companies solve problems, make decisions, and identify opportunities. They also implement and maintain databases.

Responsibilities:

  • Data mining and collection from primary and secondary sources
  • Using statistical techniques and data analysis tools to analyze complex data sets and identify trends
  • Write SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis, improving data processing efficiency by 3%
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining data collection systems and databases
  • Identify opportunities and areas for improvement

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or science.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a data analyst role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI for creating interactive dashboards.
  • Good Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficient in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail, must be a quick learner with problem-solving aptitude
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Programming skills in languages like Python.
  • Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific data regulations and compliance.
  • Advanced statistical analysis skills.
