
Business Development Executive

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for engaging with potential clients,
exhibitors, delegates, and subscribers through outbound calls. The role involves promoting events,
training services and subscriptions, addressing queries, and ensuring effective follow-ups to support
sales, marketing, and event participation.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to potential clients, exhibitors, sponsors and delegates.
- Promote Everything About Water Expo, Magazine, Training Programs and other services.
- Explain event details, benefits, and participation opportunities clearly and convincingly.
- Provide accurate information and resolve queries.
- Maintain and update call records in the database.
- Follow up with leads and ensure timely communication until closure.
- Support the sales and marketing teams in achieving participation and subscription targets.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional interaction.
- Report daily/weekly call activities and outcomes to the team manager.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate in any stream (Freshers and experienced candidates both can apply).
- 0–3 years of experience in telecalling, telesales, customer service, or business development.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi (additional languages will be an
- advantage).
- Confident, polite and persuasive phone manner.
- Ability to handle objections and convert prospects into participants/prospects.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, Google Sheets etc).
- Target-driven, self-motivated, and a team player.
