General Manager required from a Plasticizer Sales background

Key Responsibilities: -

Raw material sourcing:

  • Establish strong relationship with all suppliers of raw materials for plasticizer production.
  • Coordinate with internal resources and third parties/vendors for ensuring availability of raw materials at lowest total cost of ownership within agreed inventory norms.

Supply Chain:

  • Ensure logistics cost is managed within the best in class for both inbound and outbound materials.
  • Ensure OTIF (on-time in full) at agreed norms. Sales and marketing
  • Oversee sales and marketing of plasticizers.
  • Build team as required with due approvals from the management.
  • Build relationship with major customers.
  • Ensure timely order booking, dispatches and payments with compliance to all stator and internally agreed requirements.

MIS and intelligence on all above aspects

Qualification, Experience & Desirables:

  • Graduate/post graduate from a reputed institute.
  • Minimum 15 years in sales department with exposure to purchasing of key raw materials.
  • Key account management skills are crucial for the role.
  • Team player.
  • Past experience in sourcing of key raw materials of plasticizer is mandatory.
  • Past experience in sales of plasticizers is desirable. Sales experience of related products like paste grade PVC can be considered. Should have handled sales of minimum 500 Cr per year.
