Job Summary:

Gravton Motors Pvt Ltd is seeking experienced professionals for the roles of Senior Service Engineer, and Service Technician within our electric two-wheeler service division. We are looking for candidates with a strong background in automotive service and training, who can lead, manage, and execute service operations while ensuring high standards of service delivery and customer satisfaction. This role requires close collaboration with R&D and manufacturing teams, and a focus on continuous improvement and technical training. Ideal candidates will have a hands-on approach to service, a deep understanding of electric vehicle components, and the ability to develop and train others.

Key Responsibilities:

Service Management:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service department, ensuring all services are performed effectively and efficiently.

• Lead, manage, and motivate the service team, ensuring continuous development and high performance.

• Develop and implement service strategies to support new product launches and ongoing improvements.

• Manage relationships with dealers, franchise owners, and other stakeholders to ensure top-quality service and customer satisfaction.

• Drive key performance indicators (KPIs) related to service quality, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Training & Development:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive training program for technicians, including hands-on workshops and technical documentation.

• Design service manuals, training materials, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electric two-wheelers.

• Conduct training sessions on electric two-wheeler diagnostics, repairs, and component assembly/disassembly.

• Create a library of training materials, including service tools, equipment usage, and detailed operational procedures.

Technical Support & Issue Resolution:

• Provide technical support to the service team, including troubleshooting complex service issues.

• Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to resolve product-related service issues and integrate new product developments into service protocols.

• Oversee warranty claims processing and ensure compliance with company policies.

• Monitor mechanical and electrical performance during field tests and provide feedback for vehicle improvements.

Service Execution:

• Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on electric two-wheelers, including battery packs, wiring, motors, and control systems.

• Conduct pre-delivery inspections and ensure all services adhere to company standards.

• Assemble, disassemble, and replace vehicle components as needed.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper service techniques at all times.

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

• Establish and enforce compliance with safety standards, company policies, and best practices.

• Conduct quality checks on service activities and ensure adherence to SOPs.

• Manage the spare parts division, including process creation and inventory management.

Qualifications:

Senior Service Engineer:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in electric two-wheeler service, with a focus on training and curriculum development.

• Expertise in diagnostics, repair techniques, and hands-on training.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Service Technician:

• Diploma or certification in Automotive, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.

• 1-3 years of experience as a service technician in automotive or electric vehicle industries.

• Familiarity with electric two-wheeler components and troubleshooting.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to use diagnostic tools.
