Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Offshore BIM Manager to lead our BIM initiatives across international projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of overall experience, with at least 6 years dedicated to BIM projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with a robust background in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and a proven ability to build and manage high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management:

    Oversee BIM processes for international projects in the US, UK, and Australia, ensuring adherence to quality standards, timelines, and budget constraints.
  • Team Leadership:

    Lead and mentor a BIM team of 10+ professionals. Demonstrated ability to build cohesive teams from scratch based on client requirements, promoting best practices and a collaborative environment.
  • Technical Expertise:

    Utilize tools like Revit, Dynamo, Navisworks, and BIM 360 to manage BIM models across architectural, structural, MEP, and infrastructure domains.
  • Discipline Proficiency:

    Demonstrate deep knowledge in at least two of the following: Architectural, Structural, MEP, Roadways, or Infrastructure.
  • Client Collaboration:

    Coordinate with architects, structural and MEP consultants, BIM consultants, general contractors, and product manufacturers to ensure successful project execution.
  • Team Building:

    Strategically build and scale offshore BIM teams, aligning skill sets with client and business needs.
  • Workflow Automation:

    Develop scripts and automate BIM workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Quality Assurance:

    Enforce BIM standards and protocols to ensure high-quality output and compliance with industry best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement:

    Stay current with industry trends and integrate innovative tools and practices to optimize BIM delivery.

Qualifications

  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    Minimum 10 years in the construction or engineering industry, with at least 6 years in BIM management.
  • Software Proficiency:

    Expert-level knowledge of Revit, Dynamo, Navisworks, and BIM 360.
  • Project Experience:

    Strong experience in managing BIM for diverse sectors including residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, warehouses, and large monuments.
  • Leadership:

    Proven track record of team development and management, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Scripting Skills:

    Familiarity with script development for workflow automation is an added advantage.
  • Certifications (Preferred):

    BIM certifications or project management credentials such as PMP or LEED are a plus.
