Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our People & Culture team in Bangalore. This role will be a strategic partner to business leaders while also driving people practices that strengthen culture, engagement, and performance. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a passion for building scalable people processes in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, aligning people strategy with business objectives.

  2. Partner with managers to address team challenges, drive engagement, and improve organizational effectiveness.

  3. Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle activities (onboarding, engagement, performance management, career development).

  4. Support talent management initiatives including succession planning, high-potential identification, and leadership development.

  5. Work closely with the leadership team to design and implement HR policies, processes, and frameworks.

  6. Analyze people data and provide insights to influence decisions on workforce planning, retention, and organizational design.

  7. Drive employee engagement programs, ensuring alignment with Metadome's culture and values.

  8. Manage grievance handling and employee relations with fairness and empathy.

Requirements:

  1. 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 4 years in an HRBP capacity.

  2. Strong understanding of core HR functions (performance, talent management, employee relations, policy, compliance).

  3. Proven ability to partner with business leaders and influence outcomes.

  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative approach.

  5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven mindset.

  6. Experience working in a high-growth/startup environment.

  7. MBA/PGDM in HR or related field preferred.
