Job Title: Solar Technical Engineer

Qualification: Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering

Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in the Solar Industry

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, plan, and oversee solar PV systems (rooftop & ground-mounted)
  • Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and load calculations
  • Prepare technical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and BOQs
  • Handle system sizing, inverter selection, cable sizing, and protection systems
  • Ensure compliance with electrical standards, safety codes, and industry best practices
  • Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and clients during installation & commissioning
  • Perform testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of solar PV systems
  • Support in tender preparation, technical documentation, and project proposals
  • Stay updated with latest solar technologies, grid policies, and regulatory requirements

Skills Required :

  • Strong knowledge of PV system design and electrical engineering principles
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, or similar design tools
  • Knowledge of grid integration, net metering, and electrical safety standards
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
