Location: Sai Teja Multispeciality Hospital, Kothapet, Hyderabad

Job Overview

Sai Teja Multispeciality Hospital is looking for a proactive and well-organized Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. The ideal candidate should be confident, technology-friendly, and efficient in managing day-to-day hospital front-office operations while ensuring smooth coordination among departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage patient registrations, appointments, and follow-ups (OP/IP) through the Hospital Management Information System (HMIS).
  • Maintain accurate and updated records of in-patient and out-patient details.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with departments such as OP, IP, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Billing, Radiology, and Nursing.
  • Prepare and maintain staff timetables, attendance records, and shift schedules; report daily to management.
  • Handle basic accounting and record-keeping, including cash receipts, billing reconciliation, and expense tracking.
  • Assist patients with inquiries, guide them to the relevant departments, and ensure a pleasant and professional front-desk experience.
  • Manage phone calls, emails, and messages promptly and courteously.
  • Ensure all administrative and operational details are updated, accurate, and well-organized within hospital systems.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness at the reception area at all times.
  • Handle patient feedback, complaints, or service issues and report to higher authorities when needed.
  • Support the management in day-to-day administrative tasks and ensure confidentiality of patient data.

Requirements

  • Graduate in any discipline (preferably with experience in hospital administration).
  • Prior experience with HMIS or similar hospital software is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in English, Telugu, and Hindi.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and handle pressure professionally.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, punctuality, and attention to detail.

Work Schedule

Full-time, rotational shifts (morning/evening as per hospital requirements)

Salary

Competitive and based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12, ₹18,000.00 per month
