Solution Architect ADMS & Testing (Presales)

We are seeking a Solution Architect cum Presales Leader with strong expertise in Application Development & Maintenance Services (ADMS) and Quality Engineering/Testing. The ideal candidate will bridge technology, business, and sales by designing scalable solutions, supporting presales activities, and ensuring delivery excellence for global clients.

Key Responsibilities

Presales & Client Engagement

  • Partner with sales & business teams to identify opportunities in ADMS & Testing domains.
  • Engage with clients to understand requirements, pain points, and business objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling solution proposals, RFP/RFI responses, presentations, and demos.
  • Define value propositions and differentiators tailored to client needs.
  • Support bid management and client workshops.

Solution Architecture & Design

  • Design end-to-end application modernization, maintenance, and testing solutions (functional, technical, and operational).
  • Define scalable and cost-effective architecture leveraging cloud, microservices, automation, DevOps, and AI-driven QE tools.
  • Establish frameworks for functional, non-functional, automation, and performance testing.
  • Build re-usable accelerators, templates, and reference architectures.

Delivery Enablement

  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure solution feasibility and alignment with client expectations.
  • Provide technical governance during transition/mobilization phases.
  • Define SLAs, KPIs, and governance models for ADMS & Testing programs.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies in proposed solutions.

Innovation & Thought Leadership

  • Stay ahead of industry trends in AI/ML for testing, RPA in ADMS, DevOps, CICD, observability, and AIOps.
  • Contribute to internal Centers of Excellence (CoEs) for ADMS & Quality Engineering.
  • Mentor teams on solutioning and presales best practices.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Win ratio on RFPs/RFIs supported.
  • Solution accuracy vs. delivery execution (variance 10%).
  • Client satisfaction (CSAT/NPS) for transitioned deals.
  • Revenue growth influenced by ADMS & Testing solutions.
  • Number of re-usable solution assets/templates created.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Strong expertise in ADMS (Application Development, Maintenance, Modernization, Legacy Transformation).
  • Deep knowledge of Testing Services (manual, automation, performance, security, AI-based testing).
  • Familiarity with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Microservices / API architectures.
  • Working knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, Test Automation Frameworks, AI/ML in QE.
  • Understanding of ITIL, Agile, and DevSecOps delivery models.

Presales Skills

  • Strong experience in solutioning for RFPs/RFIs, effort estimation, and costing models.
  • Excellent presentation, proposal writing, and client communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with CXO-level stakeholders.

General Skills

  • 5-10 years of IT industry experience with at least 5+ years in presales/solutioning.
  • Proven track record of winning deals in ADMS & Testing.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership abilities.
  • Willingness to travel for client workshops and presales engagements.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Preferred: Certifications in Cloud Architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP), ISTQB Advanced Level, TOGAF, or ITIL.
