Social Media Executive

The Social Media Executive will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to increase our online presence, improve marketing efforts, and achieve business goals. This role involves creating engaging content, managing community interaction, analyzing performance data, and staying current with social media trends and best practices.
Strategy & Planning:
Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy across all relevant platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube).
Define the most important social media KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and measure the success of campaigns.
Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product Development teams to ensure brand consistency and aligned campaigns.
Content Creation & Management:
Plan, create, schedule, and publish engaging, high-quality, and relevant content (text, images, video) that aligns with the brand voice and marketing objectives.
Oversee the design and production of visual assets with the design team (or independently, if applicable).
Manage the content calendar and ensure timely delivery of posts.
Community Management & Engagement:
Monitor and manage all social media channels, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Foster an active and engaged community by initiating conversations and building relationships with followers and key influencers.
Identify and engage with relevant user-generated content (UGC).
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
Use analytical tools (e.g., Google Analytics, platform insights) to track, measure, and analyze performance across all social media channels.
Prepare regular reports on campaign performance, key metrics, and overall ROI.
Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.
Advertising & Campaigns (Optional/As required):
Assist in planning and executing paid social media advertising campaigns (e.g., Facebook Ads, Instagram Promoted Posts).
Monitor campaign budgets and adjust bids to optimize performance.
Stay Up-to-Date:
Continuously monitor social media trends, tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy.
Research and recommend new social media platforms and technologies.
Experience: Proven work experience as a Social Media Executive, Social Media Specialist, or similar role.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (preferred).
Skills:
Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills.
Demonstrable social networking experience and knowledge of social media analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, platform native insights).
Basic knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics.
Familiarity with web design and publishing (e.g., WordPress) is a plus.
Basic graphic design (e.g., Canva) and video editing skills are a bonus.
