Role Overview

We are looking for a Social Media Marketing Executive to join our Thane team. The ideal candidate understands digital storytelling, social media strategy, content creation, copywriting and paid ads. Someone who can think creatively, execute quickly and optimise continuously.

Responsibilities

  • Develop platform-specific social media strategies for brands across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube
  • Plan and create high-quality content including posts, reels, stories, carousels and videos
  • Write clear, engaging copy for social posts, ads and marketing campaigns
  • Plan, run and optimise paid ad campaigns (Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube)
  • Monitor analytics, analyse campaign performance and create weekly reports
  • Coordinate with other team members to execute campaigns
  • Engage with online communities and maintain brand consistency
  • Stay updated with trends, formats and algorithm changes

What Your Day Will Look Like

  • Morning review of ongoing campaigns, ad performance and insights
  • Creating or refining the day's content—writing captions, planning reels, scheduling posts
  • Ideate and design creatives
  • Setting up or optimising ad campaigns based on the latest data
  • Brainstorming content ideas and strategies with the team
  • Monitoring comments, DMs and engagement across platforms
  • Preparing short performance summaries for internal discussions
  • Learning and experimenting with new trends, tools, and features
  • Coordinating with clients for approvals and updates

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of content strategy and social media growth
  • Hands-on experience in content creation and copywriting
  • Working knowledge of Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads or YouTube Ads
  • Ability to analyse metrics and convert them into actionable insights
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • 1–3 years experience preferred
