Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and hands-on Plant Operator to oversee day-to-day operations at our recycling facility. The ideal candidate should be reliable, responsible, and capable of managing plant activities independently. This is a crucial role that involves both technical and operational responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor, and maintain machinery and equipment used in the chemical process
- Ensure smooth functioning of plant operations on a daily basis
- Supervise material intake, processing, and storage
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical or electrical issues
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Keep accurate records of production, downtime, and maintenance
- Assist with process improvements and implement operational efficiencies
- Coordinate with vendors and logistics teams as needed
- Report directly to the management
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in plant operations, preferably in chemical, or manufacturing industry
- Diploma/ITI/Engineering background is preferred
- Strong understanding of industrial machinery, safety protocols, and process operations
- Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership
- Physically fit and willing to do hands-on work as required
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of battery recycling or hazardous waste handling
- Basic electrical and mechanical maintenance experience
