Key Responsibilities

1. Field QC & Installation Validation

  • Perform technical QC checks for system readiness.
  • Validate cabling, network configuration, device mounting, and power arrangements.
  • Ensure installations match project design and SOP standards.

2. Network & Linux System Validation

  • Verify IP schema, network topology, router/switch configuration.
  • Validate Linux-based NVR/edge devices for uptime, logs, processes, and services.
  • Identify misconfigurations in routing, latency issues, and device accessibility.

3. Troubleshooting & Remote Support

  • Resolve onsite device connectivity issues.
  • Diagnose Linux OS problems, service failures, and performance lags.
  • Escalate critical issues to L3 Infra / NOC teams when required.

4. Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare QC reports with observations & corrective actions.
  • Maintain logs, screenshots, wiring proof, and compliance evidence.
  • Track issue closure through ticketing system.

5. Pre-Dispatch Validation

  • Verify firmware, device login, and configuration consistency at staging/warehouse.
  • Validate Linux-based DVR/NVR services before dispatch.

6. Vendor & Team Coordination

  • Guide installers on best practices and QC requirements.
  • Conduct technical training for new vendors on network, surveillance, and Linux basics.

7. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with Network, Projects, and Configuration teams to ensure smooth rollout.
  • Raise NCRs for non-compliant installations.
