Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic SAP MDM (Master Data Management) Consultant with 38 years of experience in managing and optimizing master data processes. The role will focus on ensuring data consistency, governance, integration, and accuracy across SAP systems, supporting business operations, and enabling efficient decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement, configure, and maintain SAP MDM solutions to ensure high-quality master data across business processes.

Perform data governance, validation, harmonization, and cleansing activities for materials, vendors, customers, and finance master data.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Procurement, Sales, Supply Chain) to define and maintain master data standards.

Manage data migration, mapping, and integration activities between SAP modules and external systems.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and best practices for master data management.

Provide support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for SAP MDM processes.

Prepare documentation, SOPs, and training materials for business users.

Participate in SAP upgrade, rollout, and implementation projects as the MDM subject matter expert.

Drive automation and process improvements in data management using SAP tools (MDG/MDM), workflows, and reporting.

Desired Candidate Profile

3-8 years of relevant experience in SAP Master Data Management (MDM/MDG).

Strong knowledge of SAP modules (MM, SD, FI, CO) and integration touchpoints.

Hands-on experience in data cleansing, migration, governance, and validation.

Good understanding of business processes in Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team.

Educational Qualification

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT (preferred).

SAP certifications in MDM/MDG will be an added advantage.
