DESCRIPTION FOR EQUITIES INTERN ROLE AT FAMILY OFFICE

Designation: Listed equities- Analyst (internship)

Overview: Sattva Ventures is a multi-asset class investment firm with exposure across listed equities, unlisted companies, and private equity funds. The firm manages the proprietary capital of Mr. Bijay Kumar Agarwal MD, Sattva Group. Sattva Group has emerged as one of Indias most trusted and transformative real estate institutions. With deep networks across the entrepreneurial ecosystem, Sattva Ventures invests long-term patient capital. Within listed equities, the firm deploys capital into stocks and invests in PMS funds as well.

Role description: The internship will involve leading automation tasks and building basic tech tools for the listed equities team.

Responsibilities include:

a. Automating work flows for stock idea generation by scrubbing publicly available sources and building a custom screener basis criteria provided by the team

b. Implementing basic tech tools using AI to review and summarize quarterly results for portfolio companies to enable faster decision making c. Preparing simple algorithms to track DRHPs, stock exchange announcements, and market operator movements as lead indicators for review

Location: Bangalore (can consider remote location on case-by-case basis)

Educational qualification: Graduate/Post graduate degree or relevant professional qualifications from top tier institutes in computer science. Additional finance qualifications such as MBA/CA (pursuing) can be valuable:

Job specifications:

a. Comfortable to write code in Python/R/SQL for automation of work flows while ensuring accuracy

b. Ability to take lead and work independently basis guidance given by the team

c. Ensure timely closures of work basis internship tenure

d. Basic knowledge and understanding of finance and business can be helpful
