Job Title: Analyst / Associate Equity Derivatives Operations

Location: Bangalore

Shift Timing: EMEA Shift

Work Mode: Hybrid

Contract Duration: 1 Year (Extendable based on business requirements)

Experience Required: 23 Years

Notice Period: Maximum 20 days

Job Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented professional with 2–3 years of experience in financial operations, preferably within Equity Derivatives or related domains. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of derivatives products, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily reconciliation and exception management for Equity Derivatives and OTC products.
  • Support middle office operations related to trade validation, lifecycle management, and settlements.
  • Investigate and resolve trade breaks, position mismatches, and cash discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across regions (Front Office, Finance, Risk, Technology) to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail in all operational processes.
  • Continuously identify and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and control.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for operational procedures and controls.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Derivatives products (Equity Derivatives preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Strong logical and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and related applications.

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience in OTC Equity Derivatives Reconciliation or Equities Middle Office Operations.
  • Prior exposure to Equities OTC products and related operational workflows.
  • Background in financial operations or investment banking.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and business functions.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to identify and implement process enhancements.
