About the role

The role is for a fundamental equity research analyst who has covered multiple sectors or is willing to work across multiple sectors. Will be responsible for the full range of research functions from data gathering, and financial model-building, to pitching investment proposals and portfolio management. Core tasks will include building an in-depth understanding of industry trends and business drivers of the company, tracking corporate results, analysing macroeconomic events, and preparing presentations. Your success will be measured by alpha generated for clients through your stock ideas, and level of collaboration with various business partners

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of detailed financial statements and in-depth Analysis & Valuation of companies under coverage.
  • Working independently on companies to prepare detailed financial models and equity research reports.
  • Preparing peer comparison analysis to identify the potential company for investment, following every news for the same.
  • Tracking major events across global markets, specifically equity markets and analysing their effects on the local stock markets and related asset classes.
  • Analysing stock-specific movements.
  • Tracking sharp movements on certain stocks, and analysing daily, monthly movements and finding reasons for the same.
  • Keeping track of block deals taking place during market hours and tracking fund buying in stocks post-market hours.
  • Tracking brokerage reports and analysis on stock markets as well as specific company stocks and writing reports on the same.
  • Keeping updates on daily news in terms of Cabinet decisions, political announcements, company-specific announcements and tracking movements on specific stocks or benchmark indices.
  • New Stocks idea generation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹45, ₹55,000.00 per month
