Role & responsibilities :

  • Follow up on overdue accounts and manage collections efforts as per DSO limits.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor customer accounts closely for non-payments, delayed payments, or other irregularities, taking corrective actions to meet weekly targets.
  • Communicate with customers via phone, email, or mail to address inquiries and resolve payment issues.
  • Generate aging reports and other accounts receivable analysis as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Billing, sales, customer success, to resolve customer related issues.
  • Assist with month-end closing processes and other ad hoc tasks as assigned.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve payment issues via email within the stipulated Turnaround Time (TAT), ensuring timely resolution.
  • Manage auto-renewal processes and handle customer inquiries related to renewals. Propose annual subscription plans to eligible customers and facilitate the renewal process.
  • Acknowledge receipt of emails and provide tentative committed dates for solutions if dependencies exist.
  • Address all incoming customer emails related to payments promptly and effectively. Maintain accurate and up-to-date call history records in CRM for all customer interactions.
  • Coordinate with customers to determine expected payment dates and communicate effectively.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for professional customer interactions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), Tally and familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving payment issues.
