Job Description:


We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Collection Head to join our team. The Collection Head will be responsible for managing the loan collections department, ensuring timely recovery of overdue payments while maintaining customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in loan collections, excellent leadership skills, and a strategic approach to achieve collection targets.


Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • Proven experience of at least years in loan collections, with at least 7-8  years in a supervisory or managerial role.

  • Strong knowledge of loan products, credit risk assessment, and collection techniques.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.

  • Proficient in using collection software, MS Office Suite, and CRM systems.

  • Sound understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the financial industry.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

  • Professional certifications in credit management or collections (e.g., CCEP, ACA) will be an advantage.



Responsibility & Key Result Area : 

  • Develop and implement effective collection strategies to maximise loan recoveries and reduce delinquencies.

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of collection officers to achieve individual and team targets.

  • Monitor the performance of the collection team, conduct regular reviews, and provide feedback for improvement.

  • Analyse collection data and trends to identify areas for improvement and make informed decisions.

  • Collaborate with other departments such as credit risk management, customer service, and legal to resolve complex collection cases.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements related to loan collections.

  • Prepare reports on collection activities, progress towards targets, and key performance indicators for senior management.

  • Conduct regular training sessions for the collection team to enhance their skills and knowledge.

We truly practise flexible time with focus on output and core hours for team collaboration. While we are mostly working remotely at Fundfina and are open to applications across India, we will prefer that you are open to commuting to Mumbai or Bangalore or Noida offices when required.
