Role & responsibilities
Job Description:
FP&A Responsibilities: (Approximately 70%)
- Detailed Financial Analysis: The role requires detailed financial analysis for large-scale projects, emphasizing strategic oversightan FP&A core function.
- Forecasting and Budgeting: Developing and maintaining project-level forecasts and preparing variance analyses align closely with FP&A's role in budgeting, forecasting, and variance tracking.
- Risk Assessment and Recommendations: FP&A often provides executive recommendations by identifying financial risks and opportunities, a responsibility highlighted in this role.
- Process Improvement and Automation: Identifying opportunities for process automation and implementing best practices to improve reporting accuracy is another FP&A task focused on operational efficiency.
Project Management and Cross-Functional Collaboration (Approximately 30%)
- Project, Cost, and Budget Management: Though cost management is common in FP&A, its integration with hands-on project and procurement oversight leans more toward project management.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Heavy liaison with procurement and PMO, along with coordination with construction partners, adds a project-focused layer not always found in pure FP&A roles.
- Emphasis on CapEx: Managing CapEx budgets requires FP&A skills but also project-specific expertise in construction and capital planning, which is somewhat distinct from traditional FP&A in operational expenditures.
Education Qualification: CA/ M.COM or MBA (Fin)
Shift Timings: 2 PM – 11 PM IST (Work from Office)
Work Location: Chennai/Visakhapatnam
