Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive to manage and execute the company's procurement activities. The role involves sourcing reliable suppliers, negotiating prices, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of quality materials to support smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and vendors.
  • Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate contracts to achieve cost savings.
  • Process purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment.
  • Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
  • Coordinate with departments (e.g., production, accounts, logistics) to determine purchasing needs.
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder as needed to prevent stockouts.
  • Review quality of purchased products and escalate issues if necessary.
  • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure continuous supply.
  • Prepare purchase reports, cost analysis, and budget monitoring.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in procurement or purchase operations (industry-specific experience preferred).
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and ERP software.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Knowledge of supply chain procedures and market research.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in vendor management and contract handling.
  • Knowledge of GST, invoicing, and purchase documentation.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving attitude.
