We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage end-to-end procurement activities. The role involves sourcing vendors, negotiating prices, issuing purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and maintaining accurate purchase records while adhering to company policies.

Key Responsibilities

· Identify, evaluate, and develop vendors/suppliers

· Float enquiries, collect quotations, and prepare comparative statements

· Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules

· Issue Purchase Orders (POs) as per approval matrix

· Ensure timely procurement of materials/services as per requirements

· Coordinate with stores, production, and accounts departments

· Verify invoices with PO and GRN before submission to accounts

· Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking

· Maintain purchase records, vendor data, and MIS reports

· Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures

· Support cost reduction and vendor performance improvement initiatives

Skills & Competencies

· Strong negotiation and vendor management skills

· Knowledge of procurement processes and documentation

· Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel

· Good communication and coordination skills

· Analytical mind-set with attention to detail

· Ability to work under deadlines and multitask

Preferred Skills (Optional)

· Experience in manufacturing, trading, or service industry

· Knowledge of GST and basic taxation related to purchases

· Exposure to inventory or supply chain management
