Position: Purchase Executive

Experience: Minimum 1 Year in the Purchase Department

Salary Range: ₹20,000 - ₹25,000 per month

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive to manage our procurement activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, generating purchase orders, and maintaining accurate records to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to procure quality materials at competitive prices.
  • Generate and manage purchase orders (POs) accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain and update procurement records, including supplier details, pricing, and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., production, inventory, accounts) to ensure procurement aligns with organisational needs.
  • Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchase requests as needed.
  • Resolve supplier-related issues, including delays or quality discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all procurement activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a purchase or procurement role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management, analysis, and reporting.
  • Working knowledge of Tally for accounting and inventory management.
  • Hands-on experience in purchase order generation and procurement processes.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
