Job Title: IT Business Analyst ( Capital market domain )

Location: Chennai, India

Experience : 2 to 5 years

Position Summary:

We are looking for enthusiastic IT Business Analysts (fresh graduates from B-Schools or equivalent) with a passion for connecting business needs with technology solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business workflows, document requirements, and help implement technology solutions that optimize efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirement Analysis & Documentation:

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and operational requirements.
  • Understand workflows and data flows to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Convert business needs into functional specifications and system requirements.
  • Support technical analysis using SQL.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as the bridge between business teams and technology teams.
  • Facilitate workshops and discussions to clarify requirements and propose actionable solutions.
  • Support IT teams in resolving production issues with vendors and internal teams.
  • Participate in audits and compliance resolution activities.

Functional Documentation & Testing:

  • Develop functional specifications, user stories, and process documentation.
  • Prepare user guides, training materials, business cases, and production support procedures.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate outcomes against requirements.

Collaboration with Technology Teams:

  • Contribute to solution design leveraging prior knowledge of tools, systems, or basic programming.
  • Work closely with vendors, system architects, and development teams to align technology solutions with business goals.

Learning & Development:

  • Gain in-depth understanding of financial markets and domain-specific processes.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and technological advancements in capital markets.

Qualifications & Skills:.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and understanding of ETL concepts.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Passion for technology and process improvement in a business context.
