About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager – Business Development (Exports) to lead international business initiatives in the Aerospace and Defence sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in exports, program management, and client relationship management with global customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive business development in international markets, focusing on Aerospace & Defence clients.
  • Manage export sales, customer relationships, contract negotiations, and proposal submissions.
  • Oversee end-to-end project/program management for export orders—from order booking to delivery.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Production, Quality, Engineering) to ensure project success.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and identify new export business opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with export regulations, documentation standards, and customer requirements.
  • Present business performance metrics and insights to senior management to support strategy and decision-making.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Proven experience in Business Development / Exports / Program Management (preferably in Aerospace or Defence).
  • Strong knowledge of international trade, export documentation, and global customer engagement.
  • Experience in program management, supply chain coordination, and risk mitigation.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead teams and drive business growth in export markets.
