Work directly for the C-Suite of a Top Ten US Property & Casualty Insurer to drive business performance, analyze data, and identify opportunities for improvement. Unique opportunity to work with a diverse team and contribute to the success of a leading insurance company.

This key position will work to deliver top-tier strategic analysis and internal consulting to support Client Executive Management and C-Suite decision making.

Our Client is one of the United States largest insurers, providing a wide range of insurance and financial services products with gross written premium well over US$25 Billion (P&C). They proudly serve more than 10 million U.S. households with more than 19 million individual policies across all 50 states through the efforts of over 48,000 exclusive and independent agents and nearly 18,500 employees. Finally, our Client is part of one the largest Insurance Groups in the world.

Under their new long-term strategy, our Client is looking to diversify their workforce skills and have therefore teamed up with Capgemini to develop Shared Services Centers of Excellence in different locations outside the US. One of those Service Centers is related to strategic business analysis and internal consulting services to support Executive Leadership and the C-Suite. The work done by this team will help determine performance against strategic imperatives and deliver insights to identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Clients business functions like Product and Pricing Management, Distribution, Underwriting.

The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking, strategic analysis, strategy formulation, business case development and communication skills. They will be well-versed with the insurance company operations and financial management. The candidate is expected to have excellent PowerPoint, Excel and Storyboarding skills. They are expected to have graduated from a premier institution and worked for 2-3 years in a leading Strategy and Management Consulting firms. Additionally, US Property & Casualty Insurance experience is required.

Finally, the Strategic Business Analysis Manager will be responsible for leading a team of Analysts in India and establishing and nurturing strong relationships with Client Finance, Claims, Risk Management, and Product Management teams. Additionally, they will closely collaborate with US-based Functional Leaders and Executive Management.

Requirements

We are seeking a Strategic Business Analysis Manager with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of the insurance industry. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of driving business performance through data analysis and strategic decision-making. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Experience working with a top ten US insurance carrier is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of business analysts in analyzing data and identifying areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with business partners to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop and implement data analysis strategies and processes.
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis.
• Present findings and recommendations to Executive and C-Suite stakeholders across the organization.
• Monitor key performance indicators and identify trends and patterns.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business analysis.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field from a premier institution like IIT, IIM.
• 3 years of experience in business analysis or strategy consulting role.
• 3 years of experience in a top-tier Strategy and Management Consulting firm.
• Experience working in the insurance industry, preferably with a top ten US insurance carrier.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools, such as SQL, Excel, and Tableau.
• Ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize work.
