The Transportation & Maintenance Admin Manager/ Executive will be responsible for overseeing the safe, efficient, and smooth functioning of the school's transport services and maintenance operations. The role ensures that all vehicles, facilities, and infrastructure are maintained in good condition while complying with safety, regulatory, and operational standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesTransportation Management

  • Supervise daily transport operations, ensuring timely pick-up and drop of students and staff.
  • Prepare and monitor transport schedules and route plans.
  • Maintain updated records of vehicle documents (insurance, PUC, permits, fitness certificates).
  • Monitor drivers' performance, punctuality, and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with all RTO and statutory transport guidelines.
  • Address parents' and staff queries related to transport.

Maintenance Management

  • Oversee upkeep and maintenance of school premises, classrooms, playground, and equipment.
  • Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for electrical, plumbing, and general repair work.
  • Liaise with vendors, contractors, and service providers for timely repairs and AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts).
  • Ensure proper housekeeping and sanitation standards.
  • Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.

Administrative & Compliance

  • Maintain documentation for transport and maintenance expenses.
  • Prepare periodic reports on transport usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
  • Support the Head in budgeting and cost control related to transport and infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, fire, and health regulations across the school premises.

Skills & Competencies Required

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Knowledge of school transport operations and maintenance practices.
  • Vendor management and negotiation skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and quick decision-making ability.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate in any discipline (preferred: Administration/Management/Logistics background).
  • 2–5 years of experience in transport/administration/maintenance roles (preferably in educational institutions or service industries).
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance related to transport and facilities management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹28,000.00 per month
