Roles and Responsibilities

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced to oversee the end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) process. The role is responsible for managing vendor payments, employee reimbursements, reconciliations, taxation compliance, and driving process improvements through automation. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in AP operations, stakeholder management, and financial compliance with a proven ability to optimize cash flow and strengthen internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable Management

  • Oversee the complete AP cycle ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors and employees.
  • Review vendor invoices and employee reimbursements.
  • Monitor AP aging reports to ensure timely payments and effective working capital management.
  • Supervise vendor onboarding and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Reconciliation, Taxation & Compliance :

  • Perform bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and related accounting activities.
  • Manage GST & TDS reconciliations Direct & Indirect Tax regulations and statutory payments.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management
  • Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Compliance, and Partner Relations teams to streamline AP processes.
  • Provide periodic AP status updates and financial reports to senior leadership.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Accounting.
  • 2-4 years of proven experience in Accounts Payable, Finance Operations, or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of AP processes, taxation (GST, TDS), and compliance requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Zoho Books or similar).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
